Is this the way adults should behave

I am no longer a regular user of this forum, but check in now and again for help or information. This morning I was shocked and appalled by the amount of closed threads this morning.  Upon reading them It was obvious that a few posters were hell bent on
antagonising the mods and were blaming them when threads were closed. I hope that we could put their behaviour down to alcohol induced and not their normal way of conducting themselves. Fun and banter is ok in its appropriate thread, but should not be allowed
to interfere with serious debates or topics.
