Window seal...leaking ?
At the recent service the engineer found some damp below the left front window and I had him replace the seal. Today, after some heavy rain I noticed a tiny puddle of water lying directly under the central handle on the right front window. Upon pressing
the window seal joint on the outside, a small bubble/trace of water was evident and below the handle (under the grey trim) also found some moisture.
It is difficult to work out how the moisture is coming up and over the angle of the window frame.
I am thinking of attempting to get some mastic under the outside edge of the black rubber frame....anyone done this? The rubber frame does not lift up easily and I reckon it may be difficult to get the mastic in. I may have to have the frame replaced if
I'm unsuccessful.
