Normandy - site recommendation

Would like to travel to Normandy in June/July 2014. We prefer a quieter site/adults only where we can take our dogs and relax. Caen seems to be centrally located for most of the beaches/tourist attractions. Does anyone have experience of site in this region
that they could recommend?
