Hitch problem

Can anyone help me with some advise please? My caravan is having a problem letting go of the tow ball on the car.

i do all the usual things, but it results in the same thing. The car is gradually pulled high and higher as I wind the jockey wheel and hold the hitch handle up. Eventually, after much upping and downing, I have to get hold of the  A frame and give it a
tug to help it off! Easily done while the van is empty, but not so when it's packed.

with the stabiliser on it, I know that I can't grease or oil the hitch or the tow ball. But according to my hand book, it says that it should be oiled now and then. (The hitch not the stableizer). This is what is confusing me. So can any one tell me how
and where I can oil or grease it please?
