Our French trip: any route suggestions welcome

We are off this weekend for the following trip...

Ypres

Le Mans

La Rochelle

St Emilion

Carcassonne

Limoges

Orleans

Kent

Home

The tunnel and all campsites are all booked however I would welcome some suggestions on any part of the route if possible.

- I think Ypres to Le Mans will be Mway via Rouen due to the length of journey (AA Routemaps showing c.5 hours!) however I could do with any updates on the situation at Rouen at the moment from anyone having been through very recently?

- Balance of trips are relatavely short so nice driving/scenic road suggestions would be most welcome

- The last leg: Orleans - Kent will be MWay again through Rouen due to the need to get our crossing

Any suggestions would be most welcome
