First trip to France with small children

Hi all, we have booked our first trip to France this July, we are from the North West so we have booked the black horse site for the night before and after our ferry crossing.  We are travelling Dover to Calais then driving to Brittany.  We are staying over
at Le Brevident site as a halfway stop off both ways too.  Our final destination for 12 nights is to the Raguenes site in Nevez.  

Have ve you seasoned caravan/motor homers got any tips for this sort of journey, we have a 1 and 4 year old so any tips welcome!
