I tried to buy some Camping Cheques on the Internet to be put straight onto my Gold Card. I went through the normal procedure but couldn't complete the transaction. The reason given was that my Gold Card had been out of date since February. I had used it
in May and June there were still 2 cheques on it. I rang the Caravan Club and was told that my card was out of date I could use the last 2 cheques. I was told that I could renew it as I had enough points which I did.

I am very confused as I have had this card since 2006 and it has always been renewed automatically using the points.

Why was my card not renewed automatically?

Why wasn't I told that my card had expired?
