Our daughter who lives in the Savoie tells us that the road from Bourg St Maurice ( France) to Aosta ( Italy) was opened on Friday. For those of you brave enough, it's a toll-free alternative to the tunnels.

The family went up to have a look yesterday afternoon. Here's a photo of Benjy and Jamie and their dad! Note the height of the snow!
