New Aire for Skiers, La Plagne

Out on a family walk in the mountains on Sunday, we came across a new Aire de Service being constructed in Plagne Soleil next to the piste. The EHUs are in place and the terraced hardstandings are nearing completion. La Plagne is part of the Paradiski  ski complex in the Savoie, France.

Presumably, the aire will be open for the coming season. It's at 2050 metres above sea level and the road up has 8% gradients in places. Snow tyres or chains needed and fully insulated motorhomes! 

We won't be tempted but some of you snow fans might be.
