Camping in Veynes
We're on our way to our favourite (secret) campsite on la Cote d'Azur. Today we've been travelling down the D1075 from Grenoble and we decided to try a new campsite. So we're in La Provence des Alpes just outside the town of Veynes. The campsite is
Les Rives du Lac beside the Plan d'Eau.
When we arrived, we were asked how we had found the site: we replied that we use ACSI backed up by members' reports in the Caravan Club Book 1. When we showed them the entry in our 2009 edition, we realised that the entry had been made in 2005! The details
are all wrong. We're new owners and the telephone numbers and email are wrong!! So here we are putting that to right.
It's a gem of a site, beside a lake, with nice pitches, a swimming pool, good 'sanfacs', a restaurant, but no shop, and free wifi near reception or the library. All this at the ACSI 14€ rate plus 50c taxes. And really friendly welcome.
We must buy a new CC1!
