Calais to Beziers - route/stopover suggestions?
Planning our summer 2015 trip and would welcome suggestions please.
We are travelling from Lancashire during the night on Wednesday 22 July, taking an early morning Eurotunnel and arriving in Calais at around 9.00am on Thursday 23 July.
Our first night at Serignan Plage is Saturday 25 July so we have 2 full days and 2 night stopovers to get down there.
As we will already have been driving for 7 hours or so to get to Folkestone we don't want to drive too far into France on the Thursday morning (perhaps just a couple of hours or more).
I would welcome any route suggestions for the trip (happy to take toll roads all the way) and stopover suggestions for the 2 nights. We like sites that are convenient for the autoroutes, preferring not to travel any more than a couple of miles or so from
the motorway exit.
