Brexit effects? (Closed)

Has anybody considered the implications of the effect on caravanning in Europe if Britain leaves the EU.

Could the following be expected?

Cost of insurance to rise. Especially travel health insurance, as the EHIC will no longer be valid.

Visa’s or travel documents may again be necessary.

Lengthy wait at border crossings as documents checked, and customs officers check that limits of alcohol and cigarettes haven’t been infringed.

On the spot fines being more frequent as Schengen agreements fall by the wayside.

Those of us who benefit from insurances provided by other member states may also find cover being cancelled.

Just to mention but a few things.

I suppose we will just get on with it, as we did before we joined the 'Common Market' all those years ago.

Any thoughts?

Regards Drusy
