Reversing a simple solution

Always used the help of my wife, for her to see sometimes means that I can't see or hear her. The last time I got her to take her mobile phone and we talked all the time via bluetooth worked fine. We will be doing it this way everytime from now on. Why did
we not do it this way years ago. 

 

We have too many free calls anyway. Who else does it this way? Never seen it done before on any site...
