Italian roads
We are heading off for a grand european tour at the end of this month which will include driving with our caravan from France and into Italy heading to Florencd, Venice and Garda before going north towards Germany. My question regards the roads through Italy.
I did not fancy motorway driving too much unless it is to avoid busy cities but I am unsure if the non motorway roads are going to be easily navigated. I am sure there must be many who have done this before and I would be grateful for any advice given to make
the trip more relaxing without fretting about what lis ahead waiting to catch me out. I am also wondering if there is any publication out there showing low bridges. I saw on the cross channel ferry recently a map book for truckers but it was only for the UK.
A publication from the club on this sort of thing would be invaluable.
