Traveling to gijon , spain portugal and algarve

We're being brave and not traveling through france like we do every year , but venturing to spain and portugal . We've booked a crossing to gijon . Have nearly 6 weeks to enjoy but need advice on spanish / portugese campsites. We've NEVER booked sites in
france in the past but not sure if this is possible in spain !! Any advice welcomed !!
