Ratio of posts to views

I have just noticed that as a 'rule of thumb' the ratio of posts to views on a typical thread is around 10%

.Now my question to my more learned friends is, is  this a good return or should we be hoping to have a greater number of posts ideally from a wider range of members?

Don't forget non posters, your opinion is as valid as anyones
