Is this a radical suggestion, or has it been done?

Frm one who is not a member of a local centre, it's got me thinking as I have been reading through some of the posts on here.  The CC Centres are all geographically based (as far as I can see).  I wondered what the reaction would be if we suggested the CC
had some 'centres' which were not 'geographical' but interest based.  e.g. Someone has started a thread on fishing, so why not a 'national' centre where fishing was a primary interest.  There are many options here, and it dawns that there may be those who
would like regular contact and the opportunity to rally with people of the same interest.

Just a thought.
