We found it on our visit to France this summer, inland from Nice, up the Gorge de la Vesubie Aand then up to Madone D'Utelle - Le Sanctuaire de Notre Dame des Miracles.  To get there we had to follow a high and twisty road above the gorge...

I just didn't quite get someone went to the trouble to struggle against the odds and all common sense to tow a small caravan to the top and the abandon it?
