Suggestions for French trip 2012

Hi.  We went for our first trip to the Dordogne in July 12 and had a fantastic time at Bel Ombrage.  We are planning on going back to France in 2013 for 3 weeks in July.  We are looking for any suggestions to spend 4 days round the La Rochelle area, then
moving on to the  Dordogne for 12 days and then back up to Loire Valley for 4 days.  There is just my wife and I so we don't want to go to a busy site that caters particularly for kids but a pool would be nice.  I like to fish so any suggestions that could
incorporate that would be good, but also like to get out and see the local sites.
