Propane pig tail date.

Just having my Bailey caravan service 3rd year, the dealer called saying the technician? Hasqueried the age of the propane pig tail as it has not got a date on it they say itshould have a date and they are only ok upto 5 years.

I looked at my butane pigtail which is dated and was supplied by the dealership with the van 3yers ago it is dated 2007  anyone any thoughts.
