ACSI club id

Hi l wondered whether anyone could advise me. l have purchased a camping card acsi which l think l understand how it works my question is there is another card that you can buy called the the acsi club id is it important that l buy this card as well.Also the acsi card is it the paper one affixed in the book that you just cut out as it seems very flimsey to me.
