Ferries to Spain

On attempting to book the Brittany Ferries ferry to Spain for next February I notice that there is a ferry designated 'Economie'. Can anyone give me any information on this please? It seems as if the vehicle deck is open to the elements. Last February we
travelled both ways in severe storms with waves reaching deck 8 so I would prefer the motorhome to be under cover.
