Hi everyone I'm in the early stages of researching our caravan holiday for 2017 and am think of the Baltic Coast region of Germany has anyone been on any sites in that area we were looking to be around Wismar but anywhere really, evidently it's a UNESCO
area so should be interesting  any recommendations or advise would be appreciated.

Thank you Bren

    Bren

We did a trip along the German Baltic coast from Lubeck east in 2011. We found it a very interesting part of Germany, much of it was in the old East Germany. I have a blog
here if its of any use and the camsites we used are linked in the blog. We visited Prora which was interesting as was Peenemunde where they developed the V1 and V2 rockets and the site
    is now a space museum.

There was one of our regular posters there this summer, was it "where next" or "way to go", or similar?

We are also thinking of the Baltic coast for next year.

I can recommend the Polish Baltic coast as well; very cheap, thought the sites are often more basic.
