Just bought a Dyson DC44 (the one before the V6) on ebay for under £100.

Seems really good so far, and works with the accessories we already had with the upright one.  15mins running time means we won't even bother taking the charger.  It sits in its docking station in the kitchen, so its always fully charged.

The V6 was formerly the DC59. The DC44 is older technology and doesn't perform as well as the DC59/V6. Hence the difference in price.

i use a gtech sweeper in my caravan and a gtech premium sweeper at home both of which are great on carpets and hard flooring, Henry vac gets very little use now and always have a dust pan and brush in the van as a back up.

Yep, but its a full-size hoover replacement being used as a dustbuster.

Its got plenty for that job. Its more powerful than the current range of Dyson dustbusters.

Its like taking a musket to a swordfight.  Might be old tech, but its still great!
