Hi,

Travelling to France for the first time this weekend. Long drive from Durham and dont fancy doing it overnight to make the 8.30am sailing.

Am I ok parking at the ferry terminal in the queue from about 10pm through the night? Or is that sort of thing not allowed? Looks like its the only ferry so cant see it being a problem?

    Just looked on the Brittany Ferries site ;

    http://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/guides/ports/poole#parking

     and it does say

    'There are short and long term parking facilities opposite the terminal. Caravans cannot be left in the car park but can be parked 'overnight' in the car lanes for a £5.00 fee. There is 24 hours access to toilet facilities. Please call 01202
    440220
     for details.'

    We park up in the ferry lane each time we cross.

    Never been asked to pay yet!

    You will get knocked up at 06.30 by the ferry staff, and booking in commences shortly after that!
