Window struts missing on new caravan
Dear Wise Folk,
We recently picked up our brand new Compass Corona 576. We love it dearly. There are a number of small issues relating to drawers, cupboards, toilet sensor etc. but there is a more major one that causes me concern.
The kitchen window only has a strut on the right-hand side. This necessitates some arm gymnastics around the glass lid of the cooker to open the window when cooking (I always forget to open the window in advance). I thought it was a stupid design but then saw a picture that shows there should be one on each side. The dealer has said it will sort faulty catches, dodgy toilet etc. but should they also sort the window thing, or will it need a trip back to the factory? I haven't told them about hte window problem yet. Clearly they did a great PDI!
I can't see any pre-drilled holes or anything and I am keen for the dealer not to botch it or cause damp issues in the long-term. Does it need to go back to the factory??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I call them.
