Does anyone have reccomendations for a campsite in the holland/german/belgium areas? plenty for kids to do and near enough things to keep them amused?
Cheers.

Camping De Paal in Eersel (near Eindoven) is an amazing site for children with more than enough to do. Make sure your children take their bikes with them. Maybe because the site is particularly family orientated it will be busy during school holidays and
booking is essential. Despite being busy we found it quiet at night. In keeping with the whole of the Netherlands, cycling for the whole family is encouraged with dedicated cycle paths everywhere.0 -
Holland is a great holiday destination for caravannerd. Just a day's travel from Calais and all motorway. I would recommend going to the north of Holland to Friesland. We went this year (our second time). We went to Sneek and stayed at Camping De Domp. It's
a marina so you stay with the boats, it's very unusual and a delight as you can walk or cycle into a lovely yachting town and there are lots of places to visit nearby. Then take a short ferry ride to the island of Texel. The sand beaches are stunning, wild
life, cycling trails galore, it really is gorgeous and ideal for a family holiday. The local Texel beer is good too, and there are a good selection of camping sites. It's very popular with the Dutch and virtually unknown by foreigners, a real find!0
