What's the point in CL sites?

I have had no luck at all with trying to book through a CL site. Last week alone, I phoned 16 sites. None answered the phone although they all had answering machines. I left my name and contact number on all 16 and only 1 had the decency to return my call. 

What's the point in having them? It's disgraceful.
