Just off to France and spain for 3 months with our caravan, we were wondering what experiences people had camping around Denia, Javea & Calpe/

Many Thanks

There are 60 miles of beach between Gandai and Denia, and then Javea is on the other side of Montgo. We can recommend  camping

    Kiko Park
at Oliva, just north of Denia, and Camping
    Javea
at Xabia/Javea as good sites. The problem is that demand for campsites in Spain seems to be exceeding supply as, inter alia, French campers are shunning Maroc.

We're currently at camping Los Madriles in Murcia. There are empty pitches now, but 4 weeks ago it was full with long-term over winterers. There's a gap at this time before the summer campers arrive for Easter and then from June onwards.

Never thought we'd ever say this, but you might want to book ahead unless you're prepared to phone ahead by a few days to check availability. Camping Javea, for example, has been fully booked all through winter and we've given up on it as a site for touring.
We used to turn up and pick our pitch!

You're billed as a motorhomer, but then you say you are taking a caravan? Length of your 'outfit' is important when checking for a pitch avaialablity.
