Ferry to Spain
Hi all
we are driving through France in August heading to northern Spain. We are making 3 stops on the way and will do similar on our way back. As we only get 3 weeks off work I was wondering about the boat to Bilbao. can anyone give me a rough idea how much this
would cost

I think you will struggle to get availability for August on the ferries to Spain if you want a cabin. The Brittany Ferries website has prices, which differ on different dates, but note that on many August sailings there are now only reclining seats left.

Next year's prices not yet out but at a guess from £500 upwards one way in August for car+caravan + 2 on the Economie ship. Dogs extra and travel on posh boats extra.

Hi,why not get a price on the website-go to ferries, book on line and start there. The BF routes can be very busy and are never cheap but you need to factor in the costs of driving across France with the fuel, tolls and sites etc.
We are at Playa Joyel in Noja and need to get home early, booked on Caen-Portsmouth on a Thursday morning, so looked at alternatives and Santander route is an extra £462 plus £20 booking fee so driving to Roscoff as that inurs no additional cost.
We have used the Spain route and it is a great way to start or end a holiday so it really depends on the other factors cost being one.
