CL versus CC sites

Paid £12 per night for a CL. My choice. Right location - within walking dstance of who I was visiting. However, I was a lone motorhomer and for another 30p I could have had a full site about 8 mlies away.  

Me thinks the days of cheap CLs are gone. I don't begrudge the owner the money though. When there is only one of you, a CL looks expensive now.
