long stay in EU Spain

hi campers i have spent 3 months in spain this winter touring the east coast,talking to people about how long you can spend in a EU country has left me confused.      Things for example after three months you need to register your car? after nine months
you loose your right to free national health? staying up to a year your tax will be affected? is there any gideline website or any advice would be appreciated thanks  Paul
