Overnight at Dover
We've been here a week and a half now, got the MoT and insurance done. Looking now at booking ferry tickets P&O Dover - Calais.
I notice the earlier ferry crossings are a bit cheaper, but we need to be down the terminal two hours before sailing, so a 6:40 sailing means down the terminal about 4:30 am.
Can you get down the terminal the previous night, sleep over and wake up at 4?
is there any room down there for cross channel ferry users? It's a busy terminal from memory.

Also, what paperwork do I need to take with me on the Continent?
Am bringing the registration car paper, CRIS paper for the caravan, car insurance paper thro Aviva which also allowed me to take RAC Continental breakdown for an extra £85
I'll bring my passport, travel card (for Euros), got travel insurance in Australia before leaving.
Any other bureaucratic stuff needed for booking a ferry ticket, or while on the Continent?
