Gas use

hi folks - how long does a 6kg gas cylinder last people? I cant remember back to last time when we had a caravan so just wondered on average how often they need swapping. Obviously dependant on weather etc but if we did end up on gas because the electricity
developed a fault or got switched off we would be using gas for the alde heating and boiling the kettle.
