Italian Lakes

I've toured Europe with my caravan many times before but never to the Italian Lakes, so intend to break my duck this summer with a stay of around 2 weeks in mid to late August/early September at one or more sites. I intend to book into one or two of the
3 CC Sites on offer or any others that might be suitable. Recommendations, please. Although not a twin axle my outfit - S Max and Sterling Eccles Quartz is quite large and would need a plot to suit. I'm well aware sites will be busy at this time - near water
in high season is always the same. Also, although my wife and I will be travelling alone on this occasion lots of young families on site doesn't particularly bother us. Any comments would be of interest. Many thanks in anticipation.
