    Thanks Val, that seems pretty much as I believed the process applied to the houses. It seems to be a good system really, safe for the user & other public in the vicinity. After all there are no checks in the UK at all as far as I am aware that are compulsory. I am sure some caravans/motorhomes that are well outside their warranty have not had any type of checks for years. Neither have most houses unless they are rented. Regards, Roy
