Poitou-Charantes region

We are looking at the possibility of going to this region in early September,preferably within easy reach of La Rochelle. We use the ACSI card or camping cheque silver card and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good site with good facilities. We are
not that bothered about being near a beach so that widens the possibilities. We have a caravan 7.3 metres long so a reasonably large pitch would be a bonus.
