Google 'Weather in Baden Area France'  will give you the forecast.  Next week mid 20's.  A bit too far ahead for the following week yet.

Weather generally "should" be nice end of August, beginning of September, but of course can be unpredictable.  If you're not booked in anywhere then why not keep an eye on the weather until just before you leave and take it from there?  That's what we do,
so we're not tied to anywhere and can move where the weather is better, if necessary.

Yes, we also follow the weather.  We have a 'plan', (no site bookings for our trip starting on Thursday round West France ending in Languedoc), but are quite prepared to ditch the plan if forecast is poor.

You have to be flexible in your plans.

We once spent a miserable week in Interlaken in the pouring rain. When we packed up and went through the Gottard into Italy we emerged into full sunshine, blue sky the works.

Couldn't belive it as it was not that far away in terms of miles so we will not book campsites these days thereby enabling us to upsticks and move on if needs be.
