Fittings for Serviced Pitches

With our trip to France in mind I'm looking for a little advice on fittings to best use a serviced pitch..

For the Aqua Roll I've been looking at a float fitting (ballcock) like
this one that I can add a hose onto.

And for grey water I was thinking of bringing some of the grey hose,
like this , maybe 10 meters.

Do many of ye seasoned folks hook up like this on serviced pitches and do you have any advice ??
