Using Autotrader

hello , I am using auttrader to try and identify a good car for towing my swift challenger 442 mtplm 1350 kg

On the spec i am looking at max towing weight braked.

Is this the kerbweight of the car .   Skoda Octavia is only 1400kg not sure if this is adequate ?

This is our 1st caravan !!!
