Caravan storage in France

We have spent the majority of our caravanning in the last three years in Spain and France. Having spoken to fellow campers here in the Dordogne we are seriously thinking of storing the van in central France. I know this has been discussed off and on before
but the following questions are exercising my mind.

1. How do you get a British caravan serviced in France?

2. Is it possible to insure the van in the UK or does it have to be covered in France? 

3. Insurance again - is it possible to get recovery insurance like RP in France for the whole of Europe?

4. How much do other members pay for indoor storage in France?

5. Any suggestions for suitable sites?
