Rain in Spain

I think it's a fallacy that the rain in Spain falls mainly in the plain! We're in Conil and it hasn't stopped for 5 days. Mostly torrential and without a break. I can't find the data but it must have dropped at least an inch a day. I think we're getting
cabin fever! It seems to be the same all over Spain. Is everybody else suffering like us?
