Salamanca to Potes, Picos de Europa

I am planning the above route using  the ACSI dvd. It routes us off the A67 at jct 80 on to the CL627 to Potes. There are some serious looking wiggles on the map. Is that route good for a 7 metre caravan or would it be best to go to the coast at Torrelavega
go west on the A8 to jct 272 and go in on the N621 which looks less wiggly?

Any views on the campsite La Viorna at Potes?
