Do the sites get rechecked ever?
I obviously put this in the wrong section before, sorry.
Does anyone ever go back to see that the CL sites are up to standard?
We went to Manor Farm, Westonzoyland, Somerset the Sunday before last (17th). The large field has a row of resident caravans. We were told to park along that side, on scrubby ground under trees. I asked why we couldn't go on the far side of the field. The
owner said it was reserved for 3 vans of his relatives, due the following weekend.
The other option was next to a haulage company with large lorries. That small patch of grass had a large show caravan on it and another which looked like it was being stored.
One of the 'residents' told us the lorries - and there were many of them - started out at 5am.
We rang aound that part of Somerset to find somewhere else - mostly all booked, it being August.
Finally got space at Merry Farm, Merry Lane, Highbridge as thay had two last minute cancellations. We've been there before so were happy to go there again.
