Touring Rockies of Canada in an RV/Motorhome

Does anyone have experience of travelling through the Rockies in Canada in an RV (Vancouver to Calgary via Lake Louise, Jasper, Banff)? What are the sites like, are there plenty of them, are they easily booked from the UK (we would be going in summer so
we would need to pre-book), is there anything we should know before booking ?
