Panel constantly beeping

So, last weekend I started to get our van ready for the first outing of the year, last one being over Christmas. I plugged it into the house to charge the battery and the panel started beeping, displaying 10v. About 30 seconds later the beeping stopped and
all seemed normal. I left it on charge all day Saturday and then the same on Sunday. This afternoon my good lady heard beeping from inside the van. The control panel above the door had all of its lights flashing and was beeping like crazy. I had no idea what
to do so I've disconnected the battery and it stopped. Does it sound like my battery has had it's day ?
