Harwich Port Parking

Has anyone parked up overnight at Harwich Port!

Looking at the area on Google maps there seems to be a very large area,with marked lanes, before the check-in kiosks and no barriers etc before this.

Assuming that the overnight ferry has departed there would appear to be nothing to stop you but of course there may be some of you who know differently!

Intention is to use a site en-route,there are CLs nearby, but friends are intending to arrive too late for that option hence the question.
