Improved Wi-Fi Range and Speed
We've offered free Wi-Fi at our CL for some time, and the effect of this is that guests have been siting vans and clustering near our house to get a better Wi-Fi signal.
Our CL has plenty of space and now that internet access has become such an important part of life for many guests, we have invested in a bigger Wi-Fi range extender and antennae. This means that guests can spread-out again and enjoy the full 2 acres of our CL.
Although full BT Infinity isn't available in our area, we have also invested in a second Broadband line and 'Fibre to the Cabinet' (sometimes called 'Infinity Lite').

Good and in some locations and for some clients needing to stream a lot of content I can see its desirability and an incentive to use such CLs.
I am finding increasingly for our more modest bandwith and content use, collecting emails, checking websites etc that I can use the mobile phone network. I can tether so can if needed leave the phone in the awning to get viable signals in weak areas. So
the "need" for wifi in our case has over the last few years virtually gone away. I carry a high gain wifi adaptor and a yagi high gain aerial as a back up and this sometimes allows me to access BT openreach etc unlocked hotspots. Now it very rarely is needed.0
