Europe sites spacing
I know this subject is being posted elsewhere and in the past, but this concerns sites in Europe. Is there an EEC regulation on campsites, particulary on the spacing between units? In Germany they tend to pack them in. On one site we had just enough room
to open the door, on another, a new arrival failed to fully errect his awning and had to fold it up in one end as it over lapped our caravan. A visit to the owner was a complete waste of time. Those who have been to Spain will probably seen the summertime
villages errected in most cases under some form of shade, with units tied together, including awnings, cooking anex, sun shades etc. With limited access one small fire would soon become a disaster. If there is no EEC or national ruling I am surprised that
local regulations allow this practice.
