Winter storage/use of caravan

Hi all, this is our first winter and I would like to store the caravan on a pitch in south Wales between October and April so that we can still use it. Is this called seasonal in caravan club speak? Is this do-able or just too expensive? I've tried searching
the site but it gave me the feeling that it's something you have to plan in advance and not last minute? Any advice welcome.
